My Volume And Capacity Sculpture
March 30, 2007 — TimothyOn Tuesday, our class S23P made a sculpture that was exactly 4.35L in groups of 2 and 3. My partner was Ramiz and we made a aeroplane out of cotainers that added up 4.35L. We named it “Ship of the Century”. First we had to find 4 or more containers that we think would add up to 4.35L. Next we measured it with rice and water. Ramiz and I use a 2L bottle of juice , a carton of 1L milk , a 1.25L of lemonade and a 100mL juice popper. We were able to make a aeroplane out of those containers. When we finished Mrs . Pericles took photos of Ramiz and I with the sculpture.

Hello Timothy,
Maybe you could put the picture of your sculpture in your blog post so that everyone can see it. I’m not sure how many other groups manged to get their sculpture to exactly 4.35ml using only 4 containers. Some sort of record perhaps?

I’d love to see the picture of your “Ship of the Century”.
Did you and Ramiz find it difficult to make decisions?

Well, I didn’t know where the pictures were so sorry. And I think some other people made exactly 4.35mL using only 4 containers. And I wouldn’t think it would be a record. Probably some other people made exactly 4.35mL with less than 4 containers. Cya Guys. =]

Nah, they weren’t allowed to use less than four…
