A Anzac Letter
May 4, 2007 — TimothyA Letter To Mum And Dad.Dear Mum and Dad, April 20th 1915
I’m writing to you Gallipoli. I’m really having a difficult time here because all the smoke and noise is killing me! I really need to get away from all of this mess. It’s disgusting because there are cigarettes everywhere. I’m also being fed porridge everyday with milk or water. Last night, my friend Anthony was shot on the leg and he’s badly injured. He is in the first aid tent and needs a surgery. The water over here is horrifying because it has dead bodies floating in the water with no eye balls. It would be great if u can send a letter back.
A Letter To Our Son Jacob.
Dear Jacob, April 20th 1915
How are you doing? We are very happy for you to be in the war. Even your father was scared of going. We hope you are doing well just like you do at home. We remember you as a young, healthy and strong man. We hope the army are doing well after such a long time at war. Good luck because you are coming back soon. Please tell Anthony that his parents will be sending him a letter and I will them about the shot. Wish you the best of luck!
Love from your parents.
