Crazy Chaos At Cross Country!
June 6, 2008 — TimothyOn the 16th of May, our school had our annual cross country race. It was a tiring day with everyone racing for glory!
There were many races from the 8 year old girls to the 12 year old boys. Many people achieved their main objective, finishing the race.
There were sparks flying all around when the houses had their war cry. The houses were Freeman (yellow), Newcombe (red), Frazer (green) and Bradman (blue).
Most people who came 1st or 2nd in their age race made it to the Zone Carnival, a more tough and competitive event. Many people who finished their race were really proud of all the effort they put in. CONGRATULATIONS to all those who attended the event!

How did you go in the race Timothy? Did you achieve a personal best? Do you think our training made any difference?
You used some great expressions in your writing Timothy. I liked the images of the sparks flying around as the War Cries were chanted - great work
Just make sure that the words you used are the ones you mean (I fixed up a couple for you) - remember to check with 3 before me!

Hi,

I think that people had a wonderful time and that the people that made it must have been very good. When i finished the race i felt like i was going to die. Lot’s of people from our class made it.
